Data Deletion

You can delete data from ViewPress at any time. Choose the option that matches what you want to delete.

Disconnect a single social account

Visit /social-accounts while signed in. Click "Disconnect" on the account you want to remove. We will:

• Revoke the OAuth token at the platform (where the platform exposes a revoke endpoint).
• Delete the encrypted access and refresh tokens from our database.
• Delete the connection record and stop fetching analytics for it.

Posts that were already published to that platform remain on the platform itself — deleting them is done in the platform's native app or website. Their historical analytics records in ViewPress are also deleted.

Delete your entire account

Email support@viewpress.ai from the email address on your account with the subject "Delete my ViewPress account." We will:

• Verify the request from your account email.
• Disconnect and revoke every connected social account.
• Delete your projects, videos, characters, notes, assets, conversation history, and analytics.
• Delete your account record, billing customer reference, and authentication credentials.
• Confirm completion within 30 days.

Backups are purged on a rolling 90-day cycle after the primary deletion. Some records may be retained where required by law (e.g., tax records for paid invoices), in which case they are retained only for the period required and only for that purpose.

Specific platform requests

Facebook / Instagram

Per Meta's Platform Terms, this page also serves as ViewPress's Data Deletion Instructions URL. To request deletion of data ViewPress holds about you that was obtained from Facebook or Instagram, follow the "Disconnect a single social account" or "Delete your entire account" steps above. You can also revoke ViewPress's access from your Facebook account at facebook.com/settings › Business Integrations; doing so will not delete the local copy in our database, so we recommend disconnecting in ViewPress as well.

Google / YouTube

Disconnect in ViewPress at /social-accounts — we will call Google's OAuth revoke endpoint as part of disconnect. You can also revoke at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

TikTok

Disconnect in ViewPress at /social-accounts — we will call TikTok's OAuth revoke endpoint as part of disconnect. You can also revoke from inside the TikTok app under Settings › Privacy › Authorized apps.
