Ads for your shop or product
Almost every AI video ad we studied sells side hustles to creators. Almost none shows a shop owner what an ad for their own product can look like. This guide is for the shop owner.
Three ads from one product
Make three at once and see which one people watch to the end: a cosy product shot (hands, light, the product at its best), the owner talking to the camera, and a short funny ad or a sale. Three ads give you something to post every few days and something to compare.
Use your real product
Attach a clear photo of the product. The agent puts the real product into each start frame, so the ad shows your label and not an invented one. A clean product shot also makes a good last frame, with room for the price or the shop name in the Text tab.
Make it in ViewPress
Attach the photo and type: “Three 15-second ads for my candle shop: one cosy, one with me talking to the camera, one for the weekend sale.” Or start from an ad you like. Paste its link and type: “Recreate this for my bakery.” The agent studies the clip first (its shots, timing and lines) and then writes your version scene by scene.
The cosy product shot
No one talks. The product does its job: a match lights a wick, steam rises off a latte, croissants come out of the oven. Ask for a slow push-in, warm morning light and one clear sound, such as the match strike or the espresso machine. End on the product and your shop name.
The owner on camera
An owner talking about their own product is often the strongest ad a small shop can make. Use your own photo for the start frame. Keep it to one or two lines: “I pour every candle in the back of this shop. This one sold out twice.” Add a comment card with a question a customer would ask: “where do you get these??”
Pitfalls
Polish that looks like a TV ad: in a social feed, ads that look like posts get watched. Promises you cannot prove, and blunt before and after claims, which ad platforms often reject: show the result instead. Other brands’ logos in the frame. And treat one ad as a test, not a plan: make several and keep the ones people watch to the end.
Frequently asked
Do I need to be on camera?
No. The product shot needs no person. If you use an AI presenter, do not present them as a real customer with a real review.
Which one should I pay to promote?
The one people watch to the end. Judge by watch-through: a viewer who finishes the ad is the one who clicks.
